Owners have different expectations of the level of training they would like to achieve with their dog. I am proud to run friendly, relaxed, personal classes which treat everyone as individuals.
Training for your dog is giving them the life skills they need to cope with our busy lives. A happy, well socialised, mentally stimulated dog will be more able to adapt to life’s experiences.
A happy, relaxed, socially acceptable dog is also much easier to live with.
Training is all about building a bond of confidence, trust and love between the owner and their dog. All ages of dogs are catered for in small classes ensuring that everyone gets individual attention. All classes run for 75 minutes with a break for tea/coffee and chocolate biscuits. Q and A sessions are encouraged during this time. The emphasis is on a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with quality teaching for you and your dog. All the family are welcome to come and are encouraged to do so.
Lessons can be held in a large, safe, securely fenced field, with natural distractions providing an ideal environment for your dog to learn to cope with life in the big wide world. We also have the use of an indoor riding school. This is a fully secure, large area with soft floor which gives shelter from the weather if too wet or too hot to be outside.
